That South Florida Designer Team, Perry Ellis is still trying to infuse the fashion world with a little Palm Beach Style. The Men’s Spring 2011 Collection is full of easy styles in wearable fabrics of cotton (done every conceivable way), linen, tropical wool and even nylon strode man-style down the bright runway with projected Palm Trees as a backdrop. The gigantic collection of 44 pieces and another 24 pieces of swim wear made everyone think of sipping cocktails on the Breakers Palm Terrace. One could not help but feel a bit happy after all that light color for a men’s wear collection. Also, on each seat was a white polo shirt with the Project Beach and Pelican in Flight logo, the charity project founded by Perry Ellis International to help victims (all creatures) of the Gulf Oil Crisis.
