Hot, edgy and in your face rocker chick, Nicole Miller’s Fall Winter 2012 Fashion Show at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week was as strong as the City itself in the early 70’s and yet with a modern groove. Graphic brights emblazoned pants, slashed across tops, flowing from bell sleeves like paint. Fur trimmed jackets and coats still had an edge as some were in purple over gold. Brash and loud, yet detailed with sheer and velvet burnout, and long fringe from skirts. Many of the looks were styled with floppy hats, some in leopard print which played with the bold color palette. The collection is another step for Nicole Miller to make a mark on that New York Vibe that pulses with city life and means what it says.
