Charlotte Ronson must have been thinking of fall color and the way light plays in the forest for this Fall Winter 2012 runway show. The palette was rich and ripe, juicy as berries. The styling was daring yet full of enviable accessories, like leather pilot helmets that matched trendy wide removable dickies. Suede boots completed short, short sheer skirts in deep jewel tones. Everything about this collection gave you the feeling of he last bit of color in the year. One look was straight out of Robin Hood; sheer pine green dress, belted shown with knee high boots. All that was missing were a set of bow and arrows. Another knit dress had a built in hood that fairly oozed coziness. Bold knits and rich, supple colored leathers featured huge in this collection with belts, elbow gloves and must-have handbags, that will be a big sell when they hit the stores. This is a trend-setter designer that is willing to go out of her way to make real clothes that girls want to wear. We want it all.
