Life happens. As the rain poured in New York (even the rumor of a tornado in Brooklyn) Lacoste was flashing the neon lights on the pure white runway and models, dressed for the weather, were owning the catwalk in anoraks, ponchos, rain coats and some pretty slick athletic and daywear for Spring 2013. Opening with white to a kind of space age look, Felipe Oliver Baptista continues to design clean lines and minimalistic styling. The neon pops and bursts of orange and cobalt gave the collection for Spring 2013 depth and personality, but really we love all the white. The white brief case just might have to make it’s way into our travel collection. Designer, Lacoste knows life happens, he just want us to look über cool doing it. Now, can you pass a poncho please?
